Greatful

So it has been a long week at work.
Sometimes it feels like it never isn't

So I am switching my focus.

Three things for which I am grateful.

1-That there are delightful and delicious books to read.



2- That the weather is finally beginning to turn enough to sleep with the windows open



3-That the world is a vast and interesting place of which I will be seeing more next week.

Never been called that before.....

So, I work in treatment, and I have been called a lot of things but this month I aquired two new ones. The first is "The Regulator" which I thought was funny.

The second made me pretty mad at the time but I think is just clever and hilarious now. It was "ankle."

Now I would have thought nothing of it had the kid who called me this not defined it for me. I have been taking a poll and so far found no one who has heard of this so if you have let me know, because finding someone who has is becoming a bit of a hobby for me.

As this is a blog that my family reads I will not define "ankle" for you. It is not, as Todd says "the thing that attaches the foot to the leg." It is however the worst thing I have even been called, and which is the whole point. And now I have a use for them…..
I am finally going to EUROPE!

Rinding around in my.......

So after a lot of memories, we said good bye to the truck this year. The truck we went to prom in, the first big thing we bought as a married couple, has retired to Mexico, where I hope that it is basking on a sunny beach.

And after much research and deliberation we bought the car.

It is black
It is Shiny
It is fast
It is smooth
It's name is Sammy

But my favorite part……

It has seat warmers!
